Fleet Management

The Fleet Management range of products is used by shipping lines, ship managers, owners and charterers to track their fleets and manage operational productivity. The advanced versions incorporate weather forecasting, marine charts and communications capability.

Pole Star's Fleet Management system is a powerful web-based service providing a highly effective way of monitoring and managing vessel movements in real time. Pole Star products have now become the satellite tracking system of choice for 500 carriers operating 9,000 vessels.

To track your vessel, you can use an existing Inmarsat C transceiver such as the GMDSS terminal already installed on most ocean-going vessels. For superior reliability, use of a dedicated transceiver like Inmarsat D+ is recommended.

Vessel Tracking

The vessel tracking system has been developed specifically for all commercial deep sea shipping, superyachts, barge and tug operators, offshore support & oil exploration companies and coastal fleet operators. Using dedicated satellite transponders with battery backup, portable chargers and solar power, the system is suitable for both powered and unpowered fleets working in most latitudes.
